First Manitoban Photographer EVER Certified by PPA!

I am pleased to announce that I have just become the first  Manitoban in history to be Certified by the Professional Photographers of America!  As well, I’m only the fourth person  in all of Canada to have achieved this.  The professional Photographer of American is the largest and most respected international professional photographers non-profit association in the world with over 20,000 members in more than 54 countries.  Less than 3% of professional photographers have attained this certification.

The process of becoming Certification consist of 2 parts, a written formal exam as well as a submission of your work (created within the last 2 years in proportion to the type of work you do)  to be judged by a review panel.   I took the formal exam  in the United States at the Northern Light Regional Photographers Association Conference.  (I was 1% point off from receiving an A+ ……“Missed it by that much!”  LOL).  Below are the twenty images I submitted  for my Certification.
